You bet Nashville is becoming to Tennessee what Hollywood is to California, and with that comes a desire for “star spotting” just like in the glamor days of Hollywood’s silver screen. We doubt Nashville will ever start pawning maps to the homes of the stars that was once so popular on Sunset Strip, but if you do want to get up-close-and-personal to see how your favorite country singing icon lives is an option offered via sources such as a Home of the Stars Tour. Your day will start by being picked up at a Nashville Hotel in a comfortable 25-passenger bus and then be taken through the streets of downtown Nashville’s top attractions. The tour lasts over three hours and takes passengers through lush neighborhoods where you’ll drive past Alan Jackson’s Sweetbriar Estate and take a glimpse into the places that Dolly Parton and Martina McBride call home. The homes that you may see vary by season (just as they would in Hollywood), but have been known to include Ronnie Dunn, Garth Brooks, Ronnie Milsap, Dolly Parton, Trisha Yearwood , Trace Adkins andmore. While the idea of seeing a Nashville icon is attractive, keep in mind that privacy and respect will always be afforded to the star. But there will be tons of stuff to enjoy as well as the star-spotting things like historic downtown, the state capital, Music Row and Studio B (the home of over 100 top ten Elvis hits) and Vanderbilt University. After all, if you want to experience Nashville like your favorite icon does, there’s more to see than houses alone!
