- The Hermitage: Step back in time on what was once Andrew Jackson’s 1000-acre estate. Turned into a museum in 1889, the Hermitage is now a place to discover the history of Nashville and the South.
- Music Row: This is the site of the many recording studios that fill the city of Nashville. A great place to visit if you’re interested in a career in this industry or just want to step foot where Elvis recorded many of his hit songs.
- Ryman Auditorium: Another great place to see shows and concerts in Nashville, Ryman Auditorium was the site of the Grand Ole Opry for over 30 years from 1943 to 1974. Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan, and Dolly Parton are just a few of the legends who have performed in this theater.
- Belle Meade Plantation: Filled with Nashville history, this plantation was the site of the Battle of Nashville during the Civil War. Here you can also witness the Greek style architecture that was so popular during the antebellum period.
- Tennessee State Museum: This museum has slowly evolved from its humble beginnings in 1817 to what it is today; housing numerous permanent exhibits, traveling showcases and even a war memorial building.

- Mansion: Now home to Belmont University, this site began as a large house museum and later became an all-girls school before becoming the co-ed university it is today. Today, the beautifully restored home is still a museum that can be toured and serves as a student center for the university.
